Carl Jones is a multi-award-winning journalist with more than 30 years of experience in the media, working across newspapers, magazines, radio and television.

He is a former assistant editor and business editor of the Shropshire Star, and head of features at the Wolverhampton Express & Star. He now edits Shropshire Business magazine, a winner of the coveted Midlands Magazine of the Year title.

Carl has also been one of the regular voices on BBC Radio Shropshire for more than 20 years, including his weekly ‘Films At Four’ review show, and has hosted news, business and politics shows on Birmingham TV, as well as making appearances on The One Show, and Sky TV.

He has hosted a wide range of in-person and live streamed events across all corners of the country, from awards ceremonies to conferences, panel debates and touring theatre shows, and can currently be seen on screen every month as co-presenter of Shropshire Business Live TV.
