Jane is a former Mayor of Shrewsbury and the founder of Share Shrewsbury, a local charity supporting anyone affected by alcohol addiction. In May 2019, Jane”s eldest daughter, Amy, died after battling alcohol addiction all her adult life.
Amy’s death was preventable, and Jane decided to do something to try to stop anyone else dying in the same way. With the help of her Trustees she has spent the past twelve months, bringing together top alcohol addiction experts, charities, researchers and those with lived experience, to create this unique online two day conference.
