Tony is Senior Public Health Commissioner in Telford and Wrekin Council and has previously been responsible for commissioning alcohol and drugs services in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. He has also worked for the National Treatment Agency in the North West and was the West Midlands Drugs Lead for Public Health England for seven years. Tony is in long term recovery and has a personal, professional, and academic interest in Mutual Aid, Recovery Communities and the role of social networks in sup-porting recovery from addiction. Tony will be speaking about the national alcohol and drug policy and strategy landscape from a local authority commissioning perspective.
